Cybersecurity threats continue to cast a dark shadow in the already strained healthcare system, causing widespread disruption to healthcare operations and risk to patient safety. In this presentation, Online Business Systems will address some of the most common security threats to our healthcare industry by leveraging real-world scenarios and learning experiences from the front lines. The intent to foster discussion, review best practices, and exchange ideas on how we can collectively combat common threats like ransomware and better understand essential cybersecurity tools and services that can help decrease the risk of a data breach.

This workshop is designed to meet the continuing education requirements for the MN Board of Nursing and approved by MN BELTS&S.  It is the responsibility of the nurse to determine whether these activities meet the current criteria for continuing education.

Cancellations must be made no later than 10 business days prior to the start of the course. The full course fee will be charged if cancellation is made in less than 10 business days. Full refunds will be given for all classes cancelled by Medi-Sota. Registration is transferable to another person.
