Description:

This session will review the best practices of chargemaster maintenance and how hospitals can prevent denials and delays in payments due to outdated code

Learning Objectives:

1. Having a basic foundational understanding of the chargemaster is key to be certain
that the CDM is set up properly.
2. Maintaining the revenue and CPT/HCPCS codes is imperative to correct claim payments. We will review what those should be.
3. Reconciliation of charges are equally as important with departments to ensure appropriate capture.

Cancellations must be made no later than 10 business days prior to the start of the course. The full course fee will be charged if cancellation is made in less than 10 business days. Full refunds will be given for all classes cancelled by Medi-Sota. Registration is transferable to another person.
