Join us for a general overview of new laws, regulations and recent developments in employment law that affect healthcare organizations including hospitals, clinics, and long term care centers.  Employment law updates pertaining to COVID will be covered and will also provide a focus on the area of enforcement.


  • To be informed of general employment law updates in the area of FLSA.

  • To gain understanding of employment laws specific to COVID vaccines, OSHA requirements for treatment of vaccinated and unvaccinated employees working in the healthcare setting.

  • To recognize how COVID has impacted the requirements under the ADA and FMLA. Also how COVID has created a focus on understanding legal issues related to employees working from home.

  • To learn, regarding social media, what employers can regulate and disciplined. Also what types of speech are not protected.

Nurse Leaders, Human Resources, CEO’s/Administrators, Managers, & Supervisors.

Prior to the program, you will receive an email with any additional course information.  Registration Deadline: May 4, 2021 by 5 pm ensures all registrants will receive course information & any materials in a timely manner.

Cancellations must be made no later than 10 business days prior to the course. The full course fee will be charged if cancellation is made in less than 10 business days. Full refunds will be given for all classes cancelled by Medi-Sota. Registration is transferable to another person.
