  This comprehensive course encourages a standardized team-based approach a

 er members of the maternity care team to improve patient safety and positi
 vely impact maternal outcomes.\nOverall Course Objectives: \n\nDiscuss met
 hods of managing pregnancy and birth urgencies and emergencies\, which sta
 ndardizes the skills of practicing maternity care providers.\nDemonstrate 
 content and skill acquisition as evidenced by successful completion of onl
 ine course examination\, skills workstations\, and group testing stations.
