Our work in Long Term Care Facilities, Hospitals, and Clinics is challenging. People we serve are experiencing significant physical, social, emotional, and life-changing difficulties. The positive or negative energy that we bring to them matters in their healing and well-being. Our personal and professional experiences and relationships are diminished by negativity. Our effectiveness and potential do not thrive in chronically negative environments. We do not perform at our highest level in a negative workplace. This session provides an awareness and means for reducing negativity within ourselves, in our communication, and in our workplace culture.
1. Understanding the Power of Alignment and the Guarded-Vulnerable Continuum
2. Eliminating Negativity: Beware of Thought Circles and Tornadoes
3. Creating a Culture of Safety and Trust: Building on Four Cornerstones
4. Assessing the Health and Effectiveness of Our Workplace Culture
5. Developing a Plan for Improvement
