This session will benefit those who need a brief introduction to some of the procedure and diagnosis codes you will encounter when working in wound care and MNT. 

 

Key Learning Objectives:

1. Understand why wound care and nutrition therapy are important for diabetic patients. 

2. Brief overview of coding and billing wound care encounters.

3. CPT codes dietitians should bill.

4. Coding guidelines for Medical Nutrition therapy.

5. Learn some solutions to claim issues.
