Description
This training is meant to increase the conversation and awareness surrounding security, law enforcement and health care. It will provide organizational members with additional topics to help them feel more comfortable and prepared in the workplace. It will review current trends and topics relating to health care and law enforcement, current statistics for Minnesota and being prepared for high-risk situations. The session will cover some basics on campus safety and site safety, de-escalation, working with law enforcement, and basic scenarios to help prepare leaders and front-line workers. The session is meant to be a springboard for individuals and departments to build upon their current foundations of policies, procedures, and training.

Cancellations must be made no later than 10 business days prior to the course. The full course fee will be charged if cancellation is made in less than 10 business days. Full refunds will be given for all classes cancelled by Medi-Sota. Registration is transferable to another person.
