The Medi-Sota Education program offers a variety of workshops pertaining to healthcare including Acute Care, Long Term Care, Management, Business Office, Compliance, and other Ancillary Departments. Most workshops are available at no cost or a reduced rate to members. A library of training videos is also available to Members Only at no charge.

Description:
This course will provide participants with information on what causes pressure ulcers and what puts individuals at risk for the development of pressure ulcers. This course will discuss preventative interventions that correlate with risk factors.
Objectives:
Upon conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
*Identify the causes and risk factors of pressure ulcers and skin breakdown
*Discuss interventions that will prevent pressure ulcers and skin breakdown
*Demonstrate how to do a skin inspection
