Allen Anderson serves as recruitment coordinator for Medi-Sota and the Rural Health Alliance. He has served in the role of staff recruitment since May 2009 and added physician recruitment to his responsibilities in April 2010. He has successfully helped a number of healthcare professionals secure employment with member employers.

In August 1995 Medi-Sota and Rural Health Alliance (RHA) received a grant to develop a joint physician recruitment program and in 2001 expanded the program to include a joint staff recruitment and retention program to address the workforce shortages in their service area. The program was designed to match healthcare professionals directly with a member employer through resources available to the program.
An advisory board with the executive directors of Medi-Sota and the Rural Health Alliance and one designated board member from each organization correspond and meet regularly with the recruiter to guide physician and allied staff recruitment activities. Current committee members include:
